General information

Participation is restricted to 35 participants.

Registration is scheduled on Sunday, September 2nd, from 14.00, at the University Guest House

Morning sessions and tutorials
The school will be held from September 3rd to September 7th at the Chemistry Departments of the Torino University. The morning sessions will be devoted to lectures by experts. The afternoons will be dedicated to practical sessions. In the tutorials it will be shown how to obtain information concerning various observables using the CRYSTAL code.

Posters
Participants will have the opportunity to present posters, that will be on display for the whole period and discussed during a special session on Wednesday 5th, afternoon.

Social events
On Sunday 2nd, a Welcome Party will be offered after the opening ceremony and participant presentation.
On Wednesday 5th, afternoon, after the poster session, there will be a guided tour in Turin, followed by the Social Dinner, in the evening.

Participation fee

The participation fee is 780,00 € (650,00 + 20% taxes). It includes:

1. accommodation at the University guest house (seven nights, from Saturday 1st to Friday 7th September 2007, included)
2. morning coffee break and lunch (3-7 September 07)
3. all social events

 
Notes:

• Dinner on September 3-4-6-7 is not included.
• The participation fee with no accomodation included is 420,00 € (350,00 + 20% taxes) (items 2-3 above, included)

Lodging

The University guest house "San Liborio" has been chosen as lodging facility for students attending the School. 
Participants will be accommodated in small flats with two single rooms that share a kitchen, a living room and the bathroom. 
All rooms have been refurnished recently. 
The University guest house is located in the city center, at approximately 40 minutes walk from the Chemistry Departments. 
Public transportation (lines 16, 18 and 67) is available from the University guest house to the School location (see the map):

• Line 16: from bus stop "Porta Palazzo est" (10 bus stops) to "Valperga Caluso"
• Line 18: from bus stop "Fiocchetto Satti" (10 bus stops) to "Valperga Caluso"
• Line 67: from bus stop "Arbarello Capolinea" (11 bus stops) to "Valperga Caluso"

Every morning a bus will start from San Liborio at 8.30, to carry participants to the Chemistry Departments.

The local organizing committee will not take care of hotel reservation.

Grants

If funds are available, a limited number of grants will be offered to partially cover participation costs (no support to travel expenses can be given).
A participation contribution of 120,00 € (100,00 + 20%taxes) is required.
Attendants applying for grants should provide a recommendation letter by their supervisor, group leader or senior scientist.
